The Glenn English Youth Tour Alumni Scholarship committee is proud to have awarded over $100,000 to Youth Tour alumni since starting the program in 2014. To be eligible, applicants must — among other criteria — be a U.S. citizen, have participated in Youth Tour and be working on completing his/her first undergraduate degree.
The deadline to apply is April 5.

The interest and success of the Youth Tour Alumni scholarship has inspired the Glenn English Scholarship Committee to partner with IEEE-REPC to add an additional opportunity: The Next Generation Rural Engineering Scholarship.Each year, the committee will award two $2,000 scholarships to college students seeking a career in the rural electric engineering fields.
One major difference between the Next Generation Engineering Scholarship and the Glenn English National Cooperative Leadership Foundation Scholarship (detailed above) is that the Next Generation Engineering Scholarship applicants do not need to be former Youth Tour participants.Please read on for other additional application criteria and information.

Leadership Summit is an energetic and motivating half-day leadership program held in March at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds during the Oklahoma Youth Expo. Students receive a $500 scholarship and have the opportunity to win additional scholarships to use for any continuing education. OEC selects two students from its territory for this honor.
Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives will offer two $1,250 Educational Scholarships to 12th-grade students exhibiting in the Oklahoma Youth Expo who will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution. Students will be evaluated on: academics, community involvement and junior agriculture program participation.
Three OEC members (or children of members) have the opportunity to win a $1,000 scholarship for continuing education just by attending OEC’s Annual Meeting in August.
Scholarships must be used by December of the following year. A scholarship won in August 2020 must be redeemed no later than December 2021. To redeem, the lucky winner must present a current bursar bill with proof of enrollment to Tory Tedder-Loffland, education and outreach programs director, at tory@okcoop.org or mail to her attention.
