OEC's Autumn McMahon, manager of marketing and member relations, received the United Way of Norman Inspire Award Aug. 20 in recognition of her dedication to and leadership of the Teen Advisors of Norman (TAN) program.

TAN includes high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who want to identify problems and issues that kids, teens and families face, and address a way to solve them. This involves fundraising, volunteer work, monthly meetings and a commitment to the cause.

McMahon was one of the high school students who founded the program in 2002. She is pictured above accepting the award alongside United Way of Norman staff. Congratulations, Autumn!
