OEC is a not-for-profit electric cooperative and is owned by those we serve—our members. We work for our members, not for distant investors. That means any revenue we make in excess of the cost to do business is returned to our members—similar to profits made by investor-owned utilities being distributed among their shareholders. OEC strives to be our members’ trusted, preferred energy provider and impactful community partner.
We believe one avenue to accomplish this is by hiring individuals who will partner with us in providing outstanding service to our members.
OEC offers an excellent benefits package to full-time employees including medical, vision and dental, and retirement options.
OEC is proud to grow and develop our employees. We have several opportunities available for employees to hone their skills and acquire new ones, develop relationships with colleagues and give back to our community and those in need.
OEC participates in E-Verify, a federal program that allows employers to electronically verify the employment eligibility of newly hired employees. Please read the attached notices for important information regarding applying for work with OEC.
OEC is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants for positions without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, or any other characteristic or status protected by law. Applicants may request accommodation needed to participate in the application process.
